This year's Nowruz at Civic Space Park was a vibrant homage to community and culture. A collaborative effort with Councilwoman Yassamin Ansari, the International Rescue Committee, ASU, and the AZPCC, the event shined a light on Phoenix's refugee and immigrant communities. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the organizations that provided resources and services. The evening's layout, reimagined as a night market, respectfully acknowledged Ramadan observances, showcasing cuisine, crafts, and performances that brought together the community in a unique celebration of the Persian New Year. This free event was a meaningful step in building a community beyond borders.
